The needle spawns as a thin, shiny silver object buried inside the main haystack. In most rounds, the needle is NOT at the dead center of the bottom floor—it frequently spawns near the upper third (the tip) or along the perimeter edges about halfway up. Look for a tiny silver glimmer that does not disappear when hay flakes are cleared.
How to Complete the Farmer Quest in Find The Needle
To complete the Farmer Quest, speak to the Farmer standing next to the red barn in the Chapter 1 lobby. He will commission you to locate the lost needle hidden in his giant haystack in exchange for a $1,000 cash reward. Once you excavate and collect the needle, return to him or trigger the automated cutscene where he rewards you—and unexpectedly knocks you into the basement.
How to Get the Chapter 2 Key in Find The Needle
The Chapter 2 Basement Key is buried inside the basement haystack located in the central underground chamber. Use the Vacuum or Dynamite to quickly clear the hay until the bronze/brass key is revealed. You must collect this key and hold it in your inventory to unlock the ceiling trapdoor after disabling the red laser defense grid.
How to Free the Alien in Find The Needle (Chapter 2)
To free the alien and escape Chapter 2: 1) Pull the 3 colored levers (Green, Red, Purple) to open the puzzle room; 2) Solve the Crystals count, Keypad code, and Picture tile puzzles; 3) Solving all three automatically unlocks the alien’s jail cell and turns off the lethal red laser grid blocking the ceiling ladder; 4) Grab the Basement Key from the hay, climb the ladder, and unlock the trapdoor to escape into the UFO beam.
Find The Needle Chapter 3: Ending Clues & What to Expect
Chapter 3 of Find The Needle continues directly from the Chapter 2 basement ending cutscene, where the player frees the alien and climbs out the trapdoor only to be tractor-beamed up into an Alien UFO Mothership. While developer update timelines are announced via official Roblox group announcements, Chapter 3 is set inside the Alien Mothership featuring anti-gravity hay mechanics, laser puzzles, and extraterrestrial tools.
